Goal: research the attributes of the various file formats and create a digital image poster that illustrates the qualities of the four main web image formats with a title, a list of attributes, and 1 or more examples of images that would be appropriate for that file format.
- Research the four main web image formats: GIF, JPG, PNG, SVG
- Is it lossy or lossless?
- What is the compression ratio?
- How many colors can it represent/show?
- Does it support transparency or not?
- Get 1+ examples of images that would be ideal (or an ideal representative of) for each image format
- Be sure to title your infographic
- Be sure to clearly label the various formats
- Make good use of space
- Design and craft your info-graphic with PhotoShop
